    So to call this book "World Drama" is misleading and inaccurate Apart from just over 70 pages, this hefty tome never leaves Europe, and it details the many, many centuries of Asian theatre with a couple of patronising chapters about how it has had an influence on Western theatre/5(1). This is a list of apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic fiction works as portrayed in literature, film, television, and, comics.. Apocalyptic fiction is a subgenre of science fiction that is concerned with the end of civilization due to a potentially existential catastrophe such as nuclear warfare, pandemic, extraterrestrial attack, impact event, cybernetic revolt, technological singularity.

Rowling and her dementor Twitter feed, we could certainly use a more nuanced, adult and satisfying update of the Harry Potter-type campus novel, and Thomas’s book promised to marry college drama with science fiction: I couldn’t wait. Drama in a World of Science was delivered as an inaugural address in my own University of Bristol. I have selected this lecture to serve as the collective tide for the book, partly on that account and partly because its theme is the point of focus to which all the views expressed in the other lectures are rented.
